Dear Editor & Residents of Montrose County,

I’m Tammy Theis, your Montrose County Commissioner candidate. My campaign is based on “Honest-Open-Leadership”. I’ve listened & heard public concerns. I have answered many questions. Our county residents deserve an Alternative Candidate that values the input of the people; that has the professional integrity to insist upon openness in public discussions when tax dollars are being spent and contracts negotiated. I have attended many BOCC meetings and functions to observe our current County’s leadership and proctor the issues that are critical for county residents. I look forward to helping the process of our County government to mature into one that is healthy, productive and transparent. We need to avoid wasteful ventures of our tax dollars and restore public confidence in the Montrose County leadership by engaging citizen participation. I stand for private property rights and protecting access to public lands.
